The Human Milk Banking Association of North America

HMBANA is a non-profit association of donor human milk banks established in 1985 to set standards for and to facilitate establishment and operation of milk banks in North America. This website provides information on milk banking and how to contact a milk bank to donate milk or to order donor human milk. This site is also a resource for health care providers and others seeking information on HMBANA’s resources and services.  Milk donors in the United States are desperately needed.  Find out how you can get involved, today.

 

National Milk Bank

The National Milk Bank (NMB) is another nationwide organization that collects donated human milk, ensures milk safety and quality and makes it available for infants in need. We strive to make quality human breast milk available to all premature and critically-ill babies. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for all qualified donors across the United States to donated their milk by making the donor process convenient and confidential.  Check out their donor screening page for pre-qualification guidelines to see if you qualify and then just click apply online, it is that easy to get involved!

 

Utah Breastfeeding Coalition

This site has all the updated information about breastfeeding efforts specifically going on in Utah.  Contact information is available, as well as ways for you to get involved or join the coalition yourselves.  Check it out and get involved!

 

La Leche League of Utah

This site gives information about the efforts of this coalition and lets you know how to become a member and how to get involved.  It even specifies towards your specific area in Utah!  La Leche League is an international nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
